Jan Frodeno is the best triathlete in the world. He has won everything there is to win in the world of triathlon—he is an Olympic winner, three-time Ironman Hawaii champion and has broken world records.
Since 2016, photographer Tino Pohlmann accompanied the exceptional athlete to his most important races. He photographed Frodeno’s victories, defeats and comebacks—and his retirement from professional sports in 2023.
The result is an outstanding long-term observation that tells of the fascination of Hawaii and of an athlete’s unconditional dedication to sports and life.
On 18. July 2024 we had our Book Launch in the Heynstudios in Berlin. From Fans, to Cycling Legends, to people from the industry, to the man himself Jan Frodeno came together to launch the new Photoessay.
